Summer Wellness at Foxridge

No matter the season, wellness is extremely important to us at Foxridge. We strive to offer recreation and wellness amenities for every lifestyle. As we approach summer, we thought it would be great to share wellness tips you can try out in the new season. Check them out:  

Indoor Workouts: As temperatures climb higher and higher, indoor workouts can be more practical. Luckily, Foxridge has a fitness center with free weights and cardio equipment right on site, making it much each easier for our residents to practice healthy living.

Outdoor Workouts:  Outdoor fitness is still enjoyable in the summer! Try scheduling your outdoor activities outside of 10 am to 5 pm, when temperatures are at their highest. You’ll find cooler temperatures during the early morning and closer to sunset. Make the most of outdoor workouts at our three basketball courts, two volleyball courts, and eight tennis courts that are lighted for evening play. We even include miles of community trails with fitness stations.

Stay Hydrated: Whether you’re working out indoors or outdoors, you should drink plenty of fluids to replenish the electrolytes and salt you’ll lose while being active. Drink one to two glasses of water before, drink water every 15 minutes during, and one to two glasses after your activity.

At Foxridge, we believe it’s how you live that matters and want to help you make the most of your wellness routine this summer. We hope these healthy living tips help you make of your summer break from school.
