Pinterest and Goodwill are your friends. There’s a lot you can do with a small space on the cheap. You just have to be willing to do research and to get in touch with your crafty side.
There is no argument that paying utilities is awful, but there are things you can do to cut costs. Get water-saving shower heads, unplug things that you aren’t using, rinse your dishes all at once rather than leaving the water running, make sure your windows are actually closed in the winter (especially in old buildings). The little things help.
